Vibe Clip terms of service

Last updated: October 20, 2026

1. What Vibe Clip is

Vibe Clip (the "Platform") connects content creators ("Creators") with short-form video editors ("Clippers"). Creators fund promotional campaigns; Clippers submit clips posted to TikTok, Instagram, or X and earn rewards based on verified viewership. In these Terms, "we" and "us" mean Vibe Clip.

By creating an account, joining a campaign through our Discord bot, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. When you sign up (on the website, or with Register in Discord) you confirm that you are 18 or over and accept these Terms and our Privacy policy; we record when, and which version. The Privacy policy explains what data we keep and why.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). Every signup confirms this; we don't verify it otherwise.
  • You may not use the Platform if you are subject to sanctions administered by OFAC or similar authorities, or located in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction. We check payout wallets, and the wallets deposits are paid from, against the OFAC sanctions list. If one is on it, we freeze the account and hold its balance for as long as the law requires.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure. One account per person.
  • Creators sign up on the website and must confirm their email with the code we send before they can use the Platform.
  • Clippers register only through our Discord bot, with an email address no other account uses, and confirm it with the code we email. An email address that has never been confirmed can be claimed by another person who confirms it.

3. How campaigns work

  • Funding. Creators fund campaigns in USDT (TRC-20) from their Vibe Clip balance. The budget and any prize pool move into campaign escrow, and the platform fee (currently 10% of budget and any prize pool) is charged at the same time. The platform fee is earned when the campaign is funded and is not refunded, whether or not the budget is spent. Escrowed funds pay Clippers as qualified views accrue.
  • Minimum. A campaign commits at least $1,000 (currently) to Clippers across its budget and any prize pool, before the platform fee.
  • Adding funds. When a Creator adds funds, the payment processor's fee and the network fee are paid on top, so the full amount requested is credited to the balance.
  • Fixed terms. A campaign's rate, budget, prize tiers, rules and end date can't be changed after it is created. Every campaign has an end date, at most 180 days after it starts.
  • Earnings. A Clipper earns the campaign's rate per 1,000 qualified views, rounded down to the cent, up to the campaign's per-clip cap if it has one.
  • Qualified views are measured by our tracking systems from platform- reported metrics, subject to each campaign's rules. A clip earns nothing until it reaches the campaign's minimum view threshold; from then on all of its views count. Views stop counting when the campaign's attribution window closes (counted in days from when the clip was posted, as the platform reports it, or from when it was submitted if the platform doesn't say) or when the campaign ends. Our measurement is final absent manifest error.
  • Posted for the campaign. Only clips posted after the campaign goes live count. A clip the platform reports as posted before then is rejected, or stops earning if that only comes to light later, and the Creator can't approve it.
  • Budgets are caps, not guarantees of spend or earnings. Once a campaign's budget is spent, clips stop earning from the rate, but their views still count toward leaderboard prizes until the campaign ends.
  • Pausing. A Creator can't pause a live campaign directly. They request a pause with a reason, and our team approves or rejects it. While a campaign is paused, nothing accrues. A pause does not move the end date. The Creator can resume a paused campaign.
  • Ending. A campaign ends on its end date (at most 180 days after it starts), or earlier if the Creator ends it. It stops taking clips at once. Before settling, we take a final read of every clip still tracking (waiting up to 2 hours) and wait for the Creator to decide on clips awaiting review (up to 72 hours). Clips still undecided after that don't count toward prizes.
  • Prizes. If the campaign has leaderboard prizes, Clippers are ranked by the total qualified views of their approved clips in that campaign. Clippers tied on views split the combined prizes of the places they share equally (leftover cents go to them in a fixed order). Clippers with no qualified views don't rank. Prize places nobody fills are not awarded.
  • Refund. At settlement, unspent budget and unawarded prizes are returned to the Creator's balance. The platform fee is not. The Creator can then use the balance for another campaign or withdraw it.
  • Withdrawals (Clipper cash-outs and Creator withdrawals) are sent in USDT (TRC-20). The amount debited from your balance is the amount you requested; the blockchain network fee for delivering it is deducted from the amount that arrives in your wallet, and is shown as an estimate before you withdraw. We refuse a withdrawal the network fee would consume. We charge no service fee on withdrawals. The minimum withdrawal is $10 (currently).

4. Clips, review and payouts

  • Which clips count. A clip must be posted from a social account you verified (section 6), on a platform the campaign targets. Each post can be submitted once, to one campaign. A post made before the campaign went live never counts (section 3).
  • Who posted it. We check that each clip comes from your verified account: from the handle in the link for TikTok and X, and on every platform from the poster the platform reports. A clip from another account, or one we can't read, is rejected automatically, with the reason sent to you. If a later read shows a different poster, that read doesn't count and the clip is flagged, or rejected if we never confirmed it as yours and it hasn't earned.
  • Creator review. The Creator reviews each clip, and only approved clips earn. A Creator may choose to approve automatically any clip whose poster we have confirmed. A Creator may reject or flag a clip at any time. Rejecting or flagging a clip stops it earning from then on; earnings already credited stay in your balance, subject to section 5.
  • Fraud checks. Our systems score every tracked clip for signs of bought or botted views. A clip that scores high, or that we can't read repeatedly (for example because it was deleted), is flagged and earns nothing until the Creator approves it again. Our Privacy policy describes these checks.
  • Balances. Earnings are held in USD-denominated balances, kept separately for each Creator whose campaigns you earned from, and paid in USDT (TRC-20) to the wallet address you provide. You are solely responsible for providing a correct, self-controlled wallet address — crypto transfers are irreversible.
  • Cash-out review. Every Clipper cash-out is reviewed by our team before it is sent. The amount leaves your balance when you request it. If we reject the cash-out, the full amount returns to your balance and we tell you why. Creator withdrawals may be reviewed the same way before they are sent.
  • Freezes. A Creator may freeze payouts of earnings from their campaigns pending a dispute (e.g. suspected fraudulent views), with a reason we send to you. Freezes are scoped to that Creator's earnings only; the rest of your balance stays withdrawable. To dispute a freeze, email support@vibeclip.io.
  • Bans. A Creator may remove you from their campaigns. You then can't submit new clips to them. Clips already approved keep tracking unless the Creator rejects them.
  • Taxes. You are solely responsible for all taxes on amounts you receive. We may require tax documentation (e.g. W-9 / W-8BEN) before releasing payouts.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • inflate views or engagement by any artificial means (bots, view farms, incentivized loops, self-dealing);
  • submit content you do not have rights to, or that violates the hosting platform's rules or any law;
  • upload a campaign banner that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful or otherwise unfit for a public page (uploads are screened automatically, and we may remove a banner that gets through);
  • misrepresent ownership of a social account during verification;
  • circumvent bans, freezes, or the one-account-per-person rule;
  • use the Platform to launder money or evade sanctions.

If we find a violation, we may reject the clips involved, reverse earnings attributable to the violation that have not been withdrawn, close the account, and report it where legally required.

6. Social account verification

Verification works by placing a one-time code in your public profile bio, which we then read from your public profile. You authorize us to fetch and process your public profile information for this purpose. A verified account can belong to only one Clipper. A claim that hasn't been verified yet can be taken over by another Clipper who verifies the account.

7. Payments infrastructure

Deposits and payouts are executed by third-party payment infrastructure (currently NOWPayments, which custodies funds in transit) or, where NOWPayments is not in use, sent from a Tron wallet we control. We maintain an internal ledger as the record of balances. Cryptocurrency values fluctuate; USDT is designed to track USD but we do not guarantee its peg. We are not a bank; balances are not deposits and are not insured.

8. The Platform's role

We provide matching, measurement, escrow bookkeeping, and payout facilitation between Creators and Clippers. Except where stated, we are not a party to the creative relationship between them. Clippers are independent parties, not our employees, agents, or contractors.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time, and close your account yourself: Settings → Your data on the website, with your password and a code we email you (/delete-account in Discord points there). Closing works once your balance is zero, no withdrawal is in flight and, for Creators, no campaign is live or paused; it anonymises the account at once and can't be undone. Accrued, unfrozen earnings remain withdrawable until then. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Records we must keep by law are kept after closure, as our Privacy policy explains.

10. Disclaimers and liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) FEES WE EARNED FROM YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (B) $100. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOSSES CAUSED BY THIRD-PLATFORM ACTIONS (E.G. VIDEO REMOVAL, METRIC CHANGES) OR BLOCKCHAIN/NETWORK EVENTS.

11. Disputes

If something goes wrong, email support@vibeclip.io first. We'll work with you to sort it out.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the Platform or email with 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance, and we may ask you to confirm the new version before you go on.
