Rules and money
Clip rules and fraud checks
Views pay out real money, so we check every clip. The checks catch bought views and borrowed videos. They send a clip to review; they never take earned money back.
The rules
- Post from your own verified account. We check the post's author against your verified handles, when you submit and on every read. Someone else's video is rejected.
- Post after the campaign launched. Older posts never count.
- Submit each video once. A video that has earned in one campaign can't go into another.
- Keep it public. A private, age-restricted or deleted post can't be checked, so it stops earning.
- Don't clip your own campaign. An account can't earn from a campaign run from the same email.
- No bought views. No bots, view farms or engagement swaps.
How we spot bought views
Real viewers like, comment and share. Bought views mostly don't. With each read we look at:
- Engagement. Likes, comments and shares compared with views, overall and on the views gained since the last read. Each platform has its own bar, because a view means different things on each.
- Silence. No comments at all once a clip has a lot of views.
- Removed views. Platforms delete fake views after the fact. A big drop in a clip's count is a sign.
- Speed. More than a million views an hour, on a clip's first day.
We only judge a clip once it has a fair number of views: 10,000 on TikTok and Instagram, 25,000 on X.
When a clip is flagged
- It stops earning until someone reviews it. What it has already earned stays the clipper's.
- The creator reviews it in their clip list, and our team sees every flagged clip too.
- Approved, it earns again. It's only flagged again if the signs get clearly worse.
- Rejected, it's final. It keeps what it had earned. You're told why, and the reason stays under My clips. If the creator asks for a change instead, fix the post and tap I've fixed it within 7 days.
What creators can do
- Approve, ask for a change, or reject each clip. A rejection or a change request carries your reason, which the clipper sees word for word.
- Remove a clipper from all their campaigns. That clipper's existing clips keep tracking, but they can't submit new ones.
- Put a clipper's payouts on hold. It holds what they earned from that creator, with a reason we DM them, until the creator lifts it.
